gktools

About

gktools consists of two GUI utilities for managing Kerberos V tickets:

  • gkinit
Obtains Kerberos ticket-granting tickets. Similar to kinit
  • gktickets
Lists and monitors the tickets obtained for the user

It was initially created quickly to allow some non tech users to work on Linux machines in an MS Active Directory
domain, and the need for some GUI tools to manipulate the kerberos ticket came forth.
gktools is based on the gnome-kerberos package from Red Hat.
